Group NIRE will host the Energy Resource Management Conference this September 29-30, 2015. The conference will be filled with the industry’s decision-makers and thought leaders who will give presentations and strike discussion throughout the conference.

“It will focus on energy asset management across multiple and different generators. Topics will deal with how to combine wind-turbine data with battery data, solar data, PMU data then communicate and analyze it,” Mark Harral, Group NIRE CEO, said.

Oncor will discuss the process of building their microgrid and the lessons learned from this project. DNV GL will also be there to discuss how microgrids can generate a large market opportunity, while Intel will cover how technology can help secure critical infrastructure.

“The two-day conference will feature presentations on microgrids, energy storage, big data and renewables. Group NIRE is assembling the top players in the industry to find out what is working and where the industry is heading,” Group NIRE’s Conference Coordinator, Michael Wilson, said.

Registration includes breakfast and lunch for both conference days, access to the cocktail reception the first night, and a tour of Group NIRE’s testing facility at the Reese Technology Center.
