Group NIRE’s Director of Project Development, Destiny Vasquez, and Legal Counsel for Project Development, Colleen Ferrall, attended AWEA’s WINDPOWER Conference and Exhibition this May. The conference allowed thousands of wind energy professionals to network and explore the latest in wind industry knowledge and technological advances.

“Every year, I look forward to attending the AWEA Windpower Conference and meeting with researchers, manufactures and industry leaders. The Conference provides a great opportunity to talk face to face about new technology, current and future projects within the industry,” Vasquez said.

This year the conference was hosted in Orlando, Florida, at the Orange County Convention Center on May 18-21, 2015. AWEA Board Chair Susan Reilly says, “From a networking perspective or from an educational perspective, discovering what’s happening in the industry and what opportunities there are for your business, it’s the event.”
